Raise a glass to Monaco?

25 September 2013

Monaco. The Société des Bains de Mer is 150 years old. To celebrate, a selection of the most prestigious wines from its cellars is being made available for tasting, served by the glass. This is an opportunity to enjoy the cuisine of Alain Ducasse accompanied by advice from head sommelier Patrick Franck. The campaign, called 150 vins (150 wines), will run for 150 days. Until 21 November 2013 customers of Monaco’s establishments will have a unique selection of Bordeaux Grands Cru wines to choose from. It is a way of unveiling some of the heritage buried beneath the Hôtel de Paris, one of the largest cellars in the world with nearly 350,000 bottles. Some of these are Larcis Ducasse, with the 2003 vintage on show for this event. More informations : www.150vins.com
